When? Friday 15 February to Sunday 17 February.

Why it’s worth checking out? Having won the AIM Award for International Breakthrough of the Year and receiving rave reviews for her debut album Stranger In The Alps, Phoebe Bridgers is undeniably making her mark in the music world.

Who’s playing? Laura Jean.

Where? The Corner Hotel (Richmond).

When? Friday 22 February.

Why it’s worth checking out? Her music has drawn interest from big names like Lorde, Marlon Williams and Alduous Harding. Plus, her latest album, Devotion, was a Triple R Album of the Week.

ZOO TWILIGHTS PRESENTS RUFUS WAINWRIGHT WITH MOJO JUJU

Who’s playing? Rufus Wainwright with Mojo Juju.

Where? Melbourne Zoo (Parkville).

Why it’s worth checking out? Elton John pretty much said that he’s the greatest songwriter on the planet. He’s also worked with the likes of Robbie Williams, Joni Mitchell, Lou Reed, Boy George, Mark Ronson and many more.

TRIPLE R BBQ DAY 2019

Who’s playing? Eat It, Still Here, JVC Radio Method and Melbourne Barbecue Orchestra.

Why it’s worth checking out? The entire day will be broadcast live on Triple R with a bar sponsored by Mountain Goat and tummies fed courtesy of the Brunswick East Primary School grillers.
