LEAVING TRIPLE R A GIFT IN YOUR WILL

By advising us of your gift we can appropriately acknowledge your support in your lifetime. You can choose how much or how little you prefer to be involved, at any stage, and your privacy will be respected at all times.

Including a gift to Triple R in your Will is a simple process. The steps below may help:

• Contact our Accounts Administrator on (03) 9388 1027 or bequests@rrr.org.au. They would love to hear from you, and can provide all the information you need.
• Consult your legal advisor to ensure the option you have chosen best reflects your intentions.
• Discuss your decision with your family and loved ones. This will help them understand and support your reasons for choosing to support Triple R in such a powerful way.
• Once you have remembered Triple R in your Will, please let us know. You don’t have to tell us, but we would love the opportunity to thank you.

Your Will reflects what and who has been important to you in your lifetime. It’s important to select the right bequest for you, in consultation with your legal adviser.

• A percentage: often regarded as the most flexible way to give as you don’t have to adjust the value of your gift to incorporate inflation, or changes to your total assets. It can be a percentage of your whole estate or of your residue (Residual gift).
• A residual gift: a gift of what is remaining in your Estate after you have taken care of your loved ones. A residual estate is what’s left your estate after specific gifts and requests have been made and all estate claims have been satisfied.
• A fixed amount: leaving an exact sum in your Will. This type of gift may need to be changed over the years to account for inflation and changes to your circumstances.

A general gift in your Will enables Triple R to direct your gift to wherever it is most needed at the time, providing the most flexible donation. We would encourage you to consider making such a gift. If you would prefer that your gift be restricted to a particular area of Triple R’s activities we would welcome the opportunity to discuss your plans before you commit them to a Will, to ensure that we can honour your wishes.
