Breakfasters featured a very special guest on Monday morning – the one and only Daniel Burt dialling in over the phone from his sofa, after being a sorely missed presence on the show since a bad car accident!

In mid-October, Daniel was driving to work when his 'journey came to an abrupt end around a traffic pole' – since then, he’s been confined to his house.

Daniel is grateful for listeners’ well wishes and Jas, Nat and Rachel ask about how his recovery has been going; from becoming a Wordle addict, to personalising his knee scooter with a Triple R sticker, and the miracle of prescription painkillers.
