Eddie Lloyd is a criminal lawyer and close friend to former Australian Defence Force (ADF) lawyer David McBride. She's been attending and closely following McBride's trial for leaking secret information to journalists about alleged war crimes.

Note: after this broadcast aired, McBride pleaded guilty to unlawfully sharing military information and he is expected to be sentenced early in 2024.
