Fakefasters: Uncle Robbie Thorpe Reflects On Treaty Ahead Of Invasion Day 2026
Fakefasters Rachel Short, Charlie Lewis and Belal Hassoun are joined in studio by longtime activist, broadcaster and Krautungalung Elder Uncle Robbie Thorpe.
Uncle Robbie shares his thoughts on sovereignty, Treaty, Invasion Day, and the launch of the Sacred Fire Originals fund with the team ahead of January 26.
“Our offices are around the fire, that’s how we used to do business back in the day, we engaged our ancestors in that process… it’s the way we did business on the ground. We’d like to see that happen all around the country. We say that the Camp Sovereignty fire is about peace, healing, harmony, love and justice for everybody and that’s what it was and that’s what it tries to do and represent.”
