Breakfasters are joined by bestselling author, editor and lawyer Alice Pung, following the 20th anniversary of her classic debut memoir Unpolished Gem. The book explores her childhood growing up in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, as the daughter of Chinese-Cambodian immigrants.
Alice shares her experience of revisiting the book 20 years later, and reflects on the impacts it has had around the world since.
