Primal Screen Program Image

While cinemas are closed, the team discuss films available to view at home on streaming services or via online home rental.

We were delighted to welcome two very special guest co-hosts this week!

Our enormous thanks to IMAX Melbourne GM Richard Morrison, and Village Cinemas Senior Film Programmer Christian Kloukinas for joining us to talk about the impact of Covid-19 on their cinemas, the appeal of epic films on the big screens of the Village Coburg Drive-In and IMAX in particular, the challenges of programming in such uncertain times for the film industry, and for sharing their personal favourite epic movies. And for staying on to share their thoughts on the two epics we picked to review this week:

THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY (Sergio Leone, 1966)

THE KING (David Michôd, 2019)
