In the gloom of a wintry spring, I unearth the mycelial elements of electronica. From ambient and textural synths, to meditative electroacoustics, to warm and warped field recordings and a pinch of 80s and 90s electropop. We follow the symbiotic relationship between musicians and the synthesizer.

Discovering it as a psychopomp into the realms of the in between - the observable and the uncapturable, the sacred and profane, the primal and contemporary, the embodied and empty. Slow and still and steady we tread the secret path, drifting along winding synth modes, ancient organs and distant voices. And stand at the bridge of heightened conciseness, raw emotivity and infectious beats and melody.
