Billy Gardner joins Clara Slewa on Velvet Haze to discuss his collaborative solo debut Last of the Natural Light, a record shaped by the community he has built through Anti Fade Records.

After years immersed in punk and garage rock, Billy reflects on leaning further into singer-songwriter territory, accidentally finding a touch of T. Rex along the way, and inviting friends into the process.

With live dates taking shape and a launch planned for later in the year, Billy also drops by to share a few tracks and trace some of the sounds behind the album.
