This Chicken Life returns for its first summer episode, with Andrew McDonald and Ben Wood, author and illustrator of the children’s book Now You Are a Chicken!, joining Fiona and Jessamy in-studio.

The pair chat about the power of a great title (which came first), breaking the fourth wall, and why chickens - with their dust baths, scratching, and unmistakable personalities - make perfect story stars.
