It was with great sadness that the music world lost Chris Faiumu (aka DJ Mu/DJ Fitchie) from Fat Freddy’s Drop on Wednesday 16 July. Ennio Styles pays homage to his rich musical legacy with a tribute show full of some of his finest work.

Widely recognised as the group’s creative pulse, DJ Mu co-founded Fat Freddy’s Drop in Wellington back in the late 1990s. For over two and a half decades the band have pushed a distinctive musical style that draws not only from dub and reggae but rhythm and blues, jazz and soul as well.
