Australian blues singer-songwriter and guitarist, Phil Manning joins Max on this week on Son of Crawdaddy to discuss his excitement for upcoming live performances with his band Chain as they celebrate 58 years together.

The pair reminisces on his extensive career, and how their music is passed down through generations. Phil also recounts previous gigs, watching inspirational country blues musician R. L. Burnside and teases the songs Chain is most excited to play together.

They briefly discuss Phil’s origins in art school and his renewed enjoyment of painting that he shares to Facebook.
