The Hard-Ons, 'The Most Australian Band Ever', are having another moment, this time on the big screen.

Tadpole speaks with director Jonathan Sequiera about his film Harder & Harder, which chronicles the New South Wales punk outfit's return to the Australian music scene, three years after breaking up.

The project was split into two films, with Sequeira finding it difficult to cut down his six hours of footage. As he explains, The Most Australian Band Ever documents a fresh-faced, "young" Hard-Ons and their initial underground success, whereas Harder & Harder records an 'older', wise iteration of the same band.

Harder & Harder is now showing in limited select screenings across the country.
