In celebration of International Day of the Seal, Dr Nathan Angelakis comes on the show to talk about his recent research into the learning behaviours of Australian seal pups.

By attaching cameras to mother seals on Kangaroo island, Angelakis was able to capture the first video evidence of a mother seal socially teaching her pup to forage for food.

Nathan joins the Radio Marinara team to discuss his findings, give details on the footage and discuss his current marine research projects.
