New Zealand writer Jeffrey Buchanan joins Queer View Mirror on the phone this week to discuss his newest work, The Birds Began to Sing.

Jeffrey explains to show hosts Sam Elkin and Hamish McLachlan how he set out to write a 'page turner', as well as speaking about some of the real-life inspiration behind the book’s narrative and its LGBTQI+ themes.
