Queer View Mirror's Sam Elkin speaks with Maddy Thorson and Noel Berry, the masterminds behind the beloved award-winning indie videogame Celeste, released back in 2018. The game follows the player character Madeline who has to climb Celeste Mountain, in order to battle her anixety and depression.

They discuss the immense impact of the game on the queer community as a trans-narrative, share the ability of games to be an outlet for storytelling and discuss their influences and processes as creators.
