Primal Screen: Arlo Dean Cook On Jebediah: Are We OK?

Melbourne-based independent filmmaker and director, Arlo Dean Cook joins Flick Ford on Primal Screen to discuss his latest documentary film Jebediah: Are We OK?. Starting the project in 2015, Arlo spent the past 11 years filming and editing the documentary on beloved Perth alternative rock band, Jebediah.

The film documents the evolution of the band over the past 30 years and their long-running collaboration and friendship that persisted as teenagers through to adulthood. Through intimate home videos, live performances and interviews, we get a behind the scenes look into one of Australia’s defining rock bands.

To conclude the segment, Arlo shares some his favourite music docos that influenced his filmmaking process, from LCD Sound System to Billie Eilish.

After a successful run in film festivals around Australia, including MIFF earlier this year, Jebediah: Are We OK? is now showing in cinemas from Thursday 15 October.
