Irish musician and radio host Maria Somerville calls into Press Colour mid-tour to chat to Sam about her second album Luster, her debut on iconic label 4AD.

Released 6 years after her debut record All My People, Maria's new album was written and recorded after returning home to Connemara, her home town on the west coast of Ireland. The songs that eventuated were deeply informed by not only the landscape and atmosphere of her surroundings, but also the community of musicians that are based in the Galway area.
