Writer Miriam Webster has recently published her debut short story collection The Slip, and joins Mel to chat all about it. Beginning her writing journey at 27, she shares what sparked her sudden passion for putting pen to paper, and how she honed her craft in her formative years. The pair also discuss Miriam’s literary inspirations – particularly her fascination with Freud – and some of the stories' characters.
