Writer, editor, and educator Katya de Becerra joins the Breakfasters crew to tell us about new horror anthology, This Fresh Hell, which aims to subvert classic (and at times, problematic) horror tropes and reimagine them with new and fresh twists. They discuss the horror genre's unique presence in literature and its differentiations with the film horror genre, its role in different cultures, and the process of compiling the collection, which features numerous local and international writers.

The collection is co-edited with Narrelle M. Harris and is out now with Clan Destine Press.
