Breakfasters: Hugo Weaving on 'The Rooster', Loneliness, and Masculinity

Hugo Weaving AO joins the Breakfasters team to discuss his latest role in 'The Rooster', directed by Mark Leonard Winter, which is screening at this year's Melbourne International Film Festival. Co-starring alongside Phoenix Raei as the two main leads, Weaving plays a hermit who forms an unlikely connection with Dan (Raei), a small-town cop who is investigating the death of his oldest friend. The film explores loneliness, masculinity, and connection, which Weaving and the Brekkie team also discuss in a broader, societal context.
