Melbourne rapper One Sixth joins Get Down to unpack matutara, a new full-length recorded in a burst of instinct and collaboration. Released via Inner Tribe Records, the album was cut at Inner Tribe Studios on Kaurna Country and features a stacked cast including Georgia Anne Muldrow, Willy Dynamo, Zoodaka, Social Change, and Bloomy Meadows, with production from Inkswel, 2nd Thought, Stay Nice, Royalz, Mista Monk, Isa Ac, and Apollo Grimes.

One Sixth speaks on making the record quickly and intuitively, setting tight writing limits and refusing to overthink the process. He describes the album as built from beats, ideas and collaborations gathered over years.

He also reflects on balancing his solo work with the long-running creative family of The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra, where he has been a key voice.
