Winton Findlay and Jacob Minarelli from Melbourne synth-groove act Birdsnake drop in for a chat with Chris Gill on Get Down this week.

Chris has been a fan of their music for a while and is keen to learn more about their debut album Biofilter, out via Bathtub Music. Winton and Jacob speak to Chris about the impact that Melbourne has had on the music they create - they are a group that’s inspired by the city’s electronic scene as well as live instrumentation.

Birdsnake have a single launch taking place at Dr. Morse on 30 November before their album party at Fitzroy’s The Night Cat in January 2026 - keep your eyes peeled for the latter when they go on sale.
