Full Circle: Fergus Jones On New Music and Moving Away From An Alias

DJ and founder of the FELT label Fergus Jones joins Millú in the studio to chat about all his latest projects and transitioning to a new style of music.

The Scottish-born Copenhagen-based artist talks about why he's abandoning his old alias 'Perko' to use his real name, and moving away from shaping his music for the dance floor to create more minimalistic and experimental tracks.

He also introduces a new group he's recording music in, House Money, which just recorded their first track, entirely improvised after just two hours of rehearsing together.

You can catch Fergus Jones at an array of upcoming Melbourne shows this February. For some, he promises dance tracks, at Miscellania Rooftop on the 11th, Skydriver Records on the 27th or Northcote Theatre on the 28th. If you'd prefer to hear some more experimental sound art - including a recording of someones bathroom - drop by Tender on Sydney Rd, Saturday the 14th.
