Frantic Items: The Winter Snow Palace Of Wisp
Natalie Lu records music as Wisp and in the last two years has ascended from bedroom obscurity to cross continental festival stages as a figurehead of the global online nu gaze scene. While plenty has changed since the release of her viral first tune "Your Face" - dropping out of college, moving from San Francisco to Los Angeles, signing a record deal - Lu still maintains a healthy diet of reading the classics, movies and playing pool with friends. Indicative of her literary passion, the debut Wisp album If Not Winter even takes its name from Anne Carson's translation of the poet Sappho.
