Frantic Items: Punching Up With Garage Sale
Dan Sullivan from Garage Sale hangs out in the studio ahead of the release of their second album, Any Day Now. The band's profile has risen rapidly alongside their peers, both locally and with likeminded communities globally, and the new album is coming out through American label Other People Records. Charting the history of the band from their beginnings in the Northern Rivers to their musically motivated move to Melbourne, Sullivan also outlines the close knit indie scene revolving around the Sore Horse label, run by bandmate Benji Luke. The next Garage Sale show is at Sore Horse Festival at The Tote on September 12. That night Sullivan will also perform with his solo project DS Heavy.
