Einstein A Go-Go: Kelly Clitheroe on Light Pollution and Dark Skies' Impact on Our Health
Dr Shane is joined by Kelly Clitheroe, President of DarkSky Victoria and the Section Director at the Astronomical Society of Victoria in Geelong. Kelly is passionate about the need for dark skies not only for the environment, but for the health of the community as there is a growing body of research linking light pollution with insomnia, obesity, mental health issues, diabetes and even links with Alzheimer's Disease. They also discuss community efforts to regulate light pollution and dark sky preservation.
