Dave Lloyd is the co-founder of independent Australian game studio company Powerhoof and joins Eric Jong and Vanessa Toholka on Byte Into IT this week.

Powerhoof have just released The Drifter, a 2D pixel-art adventure game thriller set in a fictional Australian city. Eric and Vanessa are keen to learn about why Dave wanted to focus on a point-and-click style for this game and where he found inspiration for the story’s noir and science fiction elements.

The Drifter is available on Steam, with a Nintendo Switch release soon to come.
