Listen to Radio Marinara - 29 March 201550:2329 March 2015

Drs Beach and Surf will be joined by Perran Cook (Monash Uni) to talk about worm holes - not the cosmological kind, but actual worm holes - and how, as Charlie Darwin suspected, they are really, really important in turning over stuff (chemical goodies) on land and sea. Then, in the lead up to the 53rd Bells Beach Surf Comp, we'll yack to Bob Smith, archivist and historian for Rip Curl, and John Collins, who ran the competition in the 90's. We'll ponder the history of the longest running professional surf comp in Australia, if not the world, and find out just how much work is involved in organising it.
