Einstein A Go Go - 27th November 2016

Prof. Lawrence, Dr Krystal, Dr Lauren & Dr Shane

First Guest: Professor Richard Shine The University Of Sydney. ""Teacher toad technology"" and condition taste aversion. Northern Australia's peak predators-snakes and lizards-are more likely to survive the cane-toad invasion thanks to the work of Professor Richard Shine.

Second guest: Prof. Lawrence Krauss School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University, and director of its Origins Project. Prof. Lawrence M. Krauss is an internationally known theoretical physicist with wide research interests, including the interface between elementary particle physics and cosmology, where his studies include the early universe, the nature of dark matter, general relativity and neutrino astrophysics. He has investigated questions ranging from the nature of exploding stars to issues of the origin of all mass in the universe.

Third guest: Laura Mackay Doherty Institute. Winner - Young Tall Poppy Award winner 2016. Infections are generally acquired though barrier tissues such as the skin, gut and lungs. Combating infection at the earliest stages, whilst pathogens are still localised to these body surfaces represents the best opportunity for successful immune intervention and disease prevention.
