Performing Live at RRR this November:

First up on Friday 7 November, Hatchie performs Live at RRR, hosted by Tristen Harris of The Golden Age of Piracy

Brisbane-born, Melbourne-based Harriette Pilbeam will present songs from her new album Liquorice, leaning into punchy dream-pop and shoegaze-tinted synth-pop. Co-produced with Melina Duterte (Jay Som) and featuring Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint) on drums, these songs draw from tragic romance films, exploring themes of longing, lust and regret. After years of touring overseas, Liquorice marks a return home and a fresh chapter for Hatchie.

Then, join us on Friday 14 November as Way Dynamic play live in the Triple R Performance Space, hosted by Charlie Miller of Frantic Items.

It's been a busy time for Way Dynamic, touring with the likes of Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman, before releasing their third album Massive Shoe, a recent Triple R Album of the Week. Dylan Young sings about the struggles of human connection with a lighthearted tenderness. The sound is classic, threading folk, chamber-pop and art-rock with stacked harmonies and timeless melodies.

On Friday 21 November, Georgia Knight stops by for a special Live at RRR set, hosted by Hal Langley of Local and/or General.

The local singer-songwriter will perform songs from Beanpole, a shift from her folk foundations into trip-hop and synth-washed pop. Composed on autoharp and recorded with collaborators including Nick Finch (Cash Savage and the Last Drinks) and Holly Thomas (Quivers), it's been hailed as one of the debuts of the year.

Finally, come along on Friday 28 November for a powerful live session from DRMNGNOW, hosted by Lauren Taylor & Simon Winkler of Breaking and Entering.

The Yorta Yorta artist from Shepparton-Mooroopna will perform songs from their project Ngarwu - meaning 'listen' in Yorta Yorta language - moving through hip-hop, spoken word and atmospheric electronics. The songs reflect on bushfires, the pandemic and the 2023 referendum, centering Ancestral voice, sovereignty and deep listening.

The Triple R Performance Space is exclusive to Triple R subscribers – so make sure you've subscribed!
