Tune in to Triple R this International Women's Day, Sunday 8 March, when we pause regular programming for a day of all women and non-binary broadcasters.

We kick things off with former Triple R Program Manager and host of The Word, Tracee Hutchison, at the helm for Vital Bits from 6-9am.

Then, on Radio Marinara from 9-10am, Bron Burton chats with marine biologist Dr Ally O'Brien about all things jellyfish!

From 10-11am, Megan McKeough from Zero G joins forces with Cerise Howard and Emma Westwood from Primal Screen for a 'Women In Horror Film' special. They'll be dissecting Maggie Gyllenhaal's 'The Bride!', the '1000 Women in Horror' doco, 'The Ugly Stepsister' and more!

During Einstein A Go-Go, from 11am-noon Susi Seibt, Scarlett Howard and Lauren Ayton will explore the wonders of science and its impact on the world, discussing everything from immunology and paediatrics to therapeutic drug monitoring.

At midday, renowned restaurant critic and Breakfasters regular Besha Rodell, will be guest hosting Eat It, before Gomeroi astrophysicist and author Krystal De Napoli jumps on-air at 1pm for another excellent edition of Indigenuity.

At 2pm, local blues rock legend and longtime contributor to the JVG Radio Method, Kerri Simpson, will take the reins alongside other friends of the show for two hours of thematic shenanigans.

At 4pm, Bumpy will be hosting Pebbles solo, exploring the musical ripples of an IWD inspired pebble for our listening pleasure!

From 6-8pm, Shambe Olweny-Pu jumps out of her late night program Opium Audia to host Frantic Items, before Triple R legend Namila Benson returns to the Triple R airwaves once again to pay homage to femme hip hop game changers from 8-10pm!

At 10pm, former host of The Aquarium and High Tide Meaghan Weiley returns to host Teenage Hate, before Yasmine Sharaf delivers a special IWD version of her program Cease and Desist to close out the day.
