Uncle Charles chats with Yoorrook Commissioner Travis Lovett, who recently just completed the historic Walk For Truth, a 513km nearly month-long walk from Gunditjmara Country to Parliament for community and truth-telling. They chat about the formation of the Yoorrook Justice Commission four years ago and its work since then as the first formal truth-telling body on the continent that we know today as Australia: to investigate nearly two centuries of systemic injustices that have been perpetrated against First Peoples of Victoria. Over four years, thousands of Victorians took part and shared their truths as formal evidence. Now we all have the chance to listen and learn from the truths shared with Yoorrook.
