Deep in the basement of the prestigious University of Pennsylvania lies a classroom lined with more than a thousand human skulls.

The Morton Cranial Collection is an oddity – where did it come from? Why collect a bunch of skulls? Whose skulls are these, exactly?

Journalist Marc Fennell set out with a mission – to uncover and tell the story behind infamous collection. He joined Dylan on The Grapevine to talk about his new podcast documentary series, House of Skulls and how researching the Morton Cranial Collection shed new light on a long-running tale of racism and colonialism in academia.
