Greenwashing is all around us. It’s become such big business that regulators like ASIC have it high on their priority list – but what actually is it?

Author John Pabon has been active in the sustainability sector for over 20 years and has just released a book called The Great Greenwashing to highlight how brands, governments, corporations and influencers are lying about how environmentally friendly they are.

John joins Kulja in the studio for a quick crash course on everything Greenwashing.

“Greenwashing is essentially corporations saying they’re doing great things for the earth when the reality might be something a little bit different. There are different types of greenwashing… the ones I’m concerned about purposely building it into their marketing mix, they’re lying to their consumers to obfuscate the crazy things they’re doing behind the scenes”.
