Tim Scott chats with vocalist Josh Ward of Sydney hardcore punks, Rapid Dye.

Josh talks about the long journey to get their first full length completed, working with overseas label 11PM records, the Sydney hardcore community and the small record shops that help keep the local punk and hardcore scene alive around the country.

“When I moved up to Sydney, It had this more raw, naughty type of hardcore…You can see it in newer bands now, like people are starting to really experiment and we don’t have to be a very cookie cutter type band, we can be a bit more like ourselves. It’s a little bit more individual.”
