Writer, comedian, and drongo Patrick Marlborough (aka Cormac McCafe) dials into the studio to chat with Mel about their debut novel Nock Loose, a 'kaleidoscopic underdog tale' surrounding a small town and its annual medieval festival. Partick shares their inspiration and original vision for the novel as a 'death wish style revenge thriller', discusses its underlying sincerity, and reveals what they want readers to take away from the book.
