In the midst of sweltering summer days, this week's Fakefasters – Tyler, Kirby, and Bronwyn – are joined by Emma Bacon, the Executive Director of Sweltering Cities. As Australia's only national advocacy organisation working specifically on issues related to extreme heat, Sweltering Cities focuses on and advocates for the health and wellbeing of communities, hearing from thousands of Australians in communities vulnerable to the impacts of extreme heat with an aim to create more climate-safe cities and community-driven solutions.

Emma discusses how individuals can stay safe in extreme hot weather, the things to look out for when the sun is burning, and what needs to be done to improve heatwave safety in communities.
