Activist, historian and essayist Tony Birch joined Vanessa Morris about to talk about new book Pictures of You.

Collecting short stories from the past two decades, Birch spoke about his process of short story writing, and how observing small, real-life moments can grow and transform into a powerful short story.

As his fifth published collection of short stories, he also reflected on different parts of the book and stories, that connected to his family - including the book cover that features a photobooth image of his siblings.
