Banksia: Nicholas Currie Explores Time Through Exhibition A Week's Worth

Artist and curator, Nicholas Currie, a descendent of the Mununjali clan of the Yugambeh language group with connection to Kuku Yalanji, joined Vanessa Morris on Banksia to discuss current solo exhibition A Week's Worth.

A Week's Worth is explores the concept of time through seven small scale works created over seven days within a week. Nicholas spoke about other recent projects including curating recent exhibition Big Smart at Incinerator Gallery which explores education, as well as the curry wall work that sees a wall painted with keens curry powder.

Nicholas also spoke about a fundraiser eighths editions exhibition through Bus Projects with proceeds going to the gallery's 2026 artistic program and an inaugural First Nations identified role.

A Weeks Worth is open at Daine Singer until 19 July.
