Banksia: Myles Russell-Cook discusses new exhibition space Wurrdha Marra at the NGV

Senior Curator, First Nations and Australian art, Myles Russell-Cook joins Vanessa Morris on Banksia to discuss new First Nations space Wurrdha Marra at the NGV.

Wurrdha Marra is a new dynamic exhibition space dedicated to displaying works from the NGV’s First Nations art and design collection on the ground floor of The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia, Fed Square.

In addition the space, there are a range of resources, including a podcast hosted by Tony Armstrong called Connecting the Dots.

The space will host a range of events including an upcoming artist talks series with Maree Clare, Kent Morris and Marlene Gilson on 28 October.

Wurrdha Marra means ‘Many Mobs’ in Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung language.
