Mutti Mutti, Yorta Yorta, BoonWurrung, and Wemba Wemba artist Maree Clarke and Yorta Yorta woman and Kaiela Arts Curator and Gallery Manager Chloe Jones join Vanessa Morris on Banksia to talk about upcoming exhibition Unseen Country.

Maree and Chloe speak about the project Kaiela Arts Editions which has led to this exhibition. The project took place over the past 12 months where Maree has spent significant time on Yorta Yorta Country, connecting with community, sharing historical and cultural knowledge. The project was also in collaboration with Spacecraft Melbourne.

Unseen Country features 50 unique hand-printed works on archival paper and inks created from ochres and charcoal collected on trips to Barmah and Cummeragunja.

Unseen Country opens at Kaiela arts in Shepparton on Thursday and at Spacecraft in Naarm on Friday.
