Banksia: Hunter Page-Lochard Discusses Bangarra's Waru

Actor, writer and director Hunter Page-Lochard joined Vanessa Morris on Banksia to talk all about Bangarra production Waru - journey of the small turtle.

Having previously worked on Playschool, the pair discussed how Waru is a interactive and immersive production which is also an introduction of Torres Strait Islander culture for children.

He also spoke about working with his father Stephen Page on Waru and how they recently launched production company Djali House together.

Hunter is a descendent of the Nunukul people of the Munaldjali clan of the Yugambeh tribe.

Waru will be in Naarm at the Arts Centre from the 12-19 September followed by shows across the country
