Taungurung, Yorta Yorta, Wiradjurri, Palawa artist Glennys Briggs joined Vanessa Morris to talk about exhibition Stories Told On Country presented at Kaiela Arts during Shepparton Festival.

Presenting a range of mediums, this exhibition is more than an artistic display, it is an act of truth-telling, a reclaiming of narratives, and an invitation to reflect on the lived histories of First Nations peoples within the south-eastern region.

Glennys also spoke about using her work to uncover and educate people about te histories First Nations people experienced, from stories learnt from growing up on Cummeragunja and handed down to her.
