Yolngu artist Baker Boy joined Vanessa Morris on Banksia to talk about their second album release DJANDJAY.

The pair discuss artists Baker Boy worked with through DJANDJAY including latest single THICK SKIN which features blak choir consisting of Emma Donovan, Jada Weazel, Thelma Plum, Kee'Ahn, and how it was written in response to the result of the Referendum.

A fearless and emotionally expansive second album following the release of debut Gela in 2021, DJANDJAY explores different genres and styles, goes deeper in storytelling and sees Baker Boy incorporate three languages including Yolngu Matha and English.

Baker Boy also spoke about his recent performance at the AFL grand final alongside hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg.

Baker Boy is touring the record in April and May 2026.
