Mettle is a collection centred on the resilience and fortitude that has rippled through Anne-Marie's family and Maori lineage, in spite of challenges and traumas faced in present day, or transmitted generationally.
Anne-Marie spoke the inspiration behind releasing the collection and how locations across so-called Australia and Aotearoa had played a part in the formation of individual poems.
