Yorta Yorta winyarr Allara Briggs Pattison joined Vanessa Morris on Banksia to talk about Ganbu Gulin: Gugung Murrup which kicks off the Darebin FUSE Festival.

As curator in residence for Ganbu Gulin, and developed in close connection with Wurundjeri Land Council, Allara spoke about plans for the day which includes a planting workshop, speaking panel and food, and dance and music performances.

In Woi-wurrung Ganbu Gulin means one mob and Gugung Murrup means grandmother spirit.

Allara is a storyteller, composer, director, producer, musician, sound designer, and have a tour coming up with the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra in October.

Ganbu Gulin is on 14 September at Bundoora Park Farm – Heritage Village as part of Darebin FUSE Festival
