Pulitzer Prize-winning author and journalist Chris Hedges joins Jess and Charlie to discuss Israel’s occupation of Gaza and his cancelled address, 'The Betrayal of Palestinian Journalists.' Originally booked to speak at the National Press Club in Canberra, Hedges was removed from the program and soon after, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Australia, retired Lt. Colonel Amir Maimon, was reportedly being considered as a replacement speaker.

Chris speaks about his seven years of reporting from the Middle East – much of it in Gaza – and his direct encounters with Israeli forces, including being on the receiving end of Israeli firepower and bombing campaigns.
