Dylan Bird is joined by author, illustrator and YouTuber Campbell Walker AKA Struthless to chat about his new book Doom & Bloom: The Case for Creativity in a World Hooked on Panic, finding creativity after experiencing tragedy, the importance of talking openly about mental health and suicide, and the grip that social media has on society and some habits to better manage our consumption of it.

'I think the thing that makes [tough issues] tough is not talking about them … a monster will have a shadow and that monster might look even bigger if it’s in the dark, but the second that you expose it – put some light on it – you do see what it is and the shadow goes away. Instead of dreading it you start dealing with it … that to me is definitely what I’m trying to get at through this book.'
