I am so excited to share a wonderful chat I had with the frontman, Fernando Nuti of Italian 'vampire punk' band New Candys. They’re coming to town next week on the 1st leg of their EU/AU/NZ tour for their fresh 5th album ‘The Uncanny Extravaganza’ distributed on the Fuzz club label.
We explore the bands sonic evolution and experimentation with synthesisers, their unchained creative process and the various symbols and political context that inspire the distinct dreamy sound and powerful tone in their music.
